Message of the Publisher
To the Night, all-mightiest Empress of the Cosmic Sky
Be benevolent, O Lady, to the present day men and women
To the distinguished Readers
If You are interested in true history of humankind,
This publication reveals the results of our recent decipherment of the Vedas as a computer program alongside with the decipherment of the Vedic printing (so called Harappan) script. We have found a very large database of strict exact scientific information encoded in a dozen of mathematical codes in the Vedas, Mahabharata and Ramayana as well as in the Indus script mutually coordinated and full of sense! It has been a hectic labor done during last fourteen years aimed at comprehension of the enormous amount of specific mathematical–astronomical information and discovering inner links and purports. Now, this long research of hidden secret mathematical codes in the Vedas, Mahabharatam, Bhagavadgita, Ramayanam has come to a successful happy end and a second edition of the book Key to the Vedas presented at the WSC in New Delhi, 2001 is being published on our own very restricted funds in Belarus in Russian (Minsk-Vilnjus, 2004, 656 p.) in a few copies, destined, primarily, for Belarusian libraries. Our computer decipherment is truly amazing and enlightening, all encompassing, mathematically sound, astronomically harmonious and logically consistent. I mean all the discovered and successfully deciphered mathematical and logical codes as if by some magical revelation in a state of continuous concentration and meditation (dip pranam to Vivekananda, Aurobindo and Dayananda who intuitively predicted the possibility of this revelation) work in synergy and disclose a coherent large plan of a chronocomputer program very similar yet frequently surpassing present day knowledge in the domain of discrete mathematics and programming. This deciphered knowledge was the source of the successive progress in sciences all around the globe, of the astronomically planned gigantic constructions and towns in India, Egypt, Indonesia, Mexico, Europe and explains the hidden secrets of the global ethics, global politics, global architecture of the truly global in its outlook Vedic civilization. Yes, indeed, the book contains also a truly scientific and mathematically verifiable decipherment of the Vedic script minutely mathematically coordinated with the newly deciphered mathematical-astronomical Vedic codes and devanagari script of the contemporaneous India!!! Everybody engaged in philosophical or philological speculations and interpretations of ancient Sanskrit literature do need to take it into account. Otherwise, Vedic hermeneutics will stay deprived of something very very precious and remain imaginative, not scientific, as Sri Aurobindo labeled speculative investigations of the Vedas by contemporaneous Indian authors. I fully agree with Sri Aurobindo who said in his Secret of the Vedas: “The human mind in its progress marches from knowledge to knowledge, or it renews and enlarges previous knowledge that has been obscured and overlaid, or it seizes on old imperfect clues and is led by them to new discoveries”. My interest in Indology became much more focused and persistent after reading his Synthesis of Yoga and Anirban’s Yogasamanvay Prasang in Bengali yet in. The main ideas of his Secret of the Vedas inspired me to undertake my own research and reconstruction of the science in the Vedas. I also appreciate efforts of many other scholars to understand the hidden philosophical meaning of scientific (Vedic) terminology in the Mahabharata, Brahmanas and Shastras, and, especially, a brilliant and clear-cut exposition by Prof. Ram Karan Sharma at the WSC in Turin of the Pingala’s algorythms, which belong to the same period and scientific grandeur of Vedic civilization (VIIth millenary B.C.E. as I had shown in Turin at the same conference). Right, Vedic science was highly spiritual and poetic as it was shown by Aurobindo, but it was primarily exact (iti-ha-asa - it was thus) mathematical-astronomical science of higher category (para-vidya - higher science) much ahead of many theoretical developments in contemporaneous higher mathematics and programming! You may be not inclined to believe every my word and even remain skeptical, but then investigate for yourself this intriguing subject and take into consideration that this vision is becoming more and more attractive and influential (cp. logically convincing views of Prof. R.V.S.S. Avadhanulu on mimamsa – Vedas and Computers, Hyderabad, 2001 as well as the approach of Prof. Subhash Kak in The astronomical code of the Rigveda and other publications). Though I am mainly philologist and historian specializing in hermeneutics and, moreover, I consider myself an ardent follower of Aurobindo’s philosophy, I find philological and philosophical methods inadequate, because the main concern of the ancient Vedic scientific literature was first and foremost mathematical-astronomical. Poetry and mythological symbolism played a subsidiary role. So, analyzing philosophical aspects and not understanding the core content of exact mathematical data anybody may easily go astray. Aurobindo and many others were aware of abundance of apparently meaningless passages in the Vedic literature. Of course, they had not been meaningless for the scientists of yore. I found that they contained main meanings, but they were subtle mathematical encoding and algorithms, hard to grasp by contemporary ordinary philological mind, which dominates Indological and Vedic Studies. It explains why they have been found only at the end of two hundred years of assiduous researches and not without a lucky hints from above. Philological meaning, not only direct but even indirect, which is, seemingly, interesting to most Indian as well as Western scholars, is secondary and in many cases superficial and misleading. Thanks to my wife Nathalia Mikhailova who teaches mathematics I could grasp the meaning of the Pingala's sutras describing in full detail the binary code and find ways to mathematically substantiate my vision of the Vedic supercomputer database. Our approach to the Vedas is original and revolutionary, because it’s not linguistic, symbolic, etymological, religious or philosophical, but, primarily, scientific, logical, mathematical and astronomical. But still, it remains ethical and scientifically sound and justifiable. I intend in the nearest future to translate this book into English and adapt for general readers for the benefit of all sincere seekers of truth in India and abroad. In this connection, I will be most grateful to everybody sponsoring this edition or suggesting where to find a sponsor for the English translation and publication. I am working in this field practically alone in Belarus without any support whatsoever for the last four years. I wish everybody good health, success in all endeavors and happiness! With cordial greetings from Belarus
Mikhail Mikhailov English Summary of the book M. I. Mikhailov & N. S. Mikhailova, The Key to the Vedas: Secret Codes and Integral Hermeneutics of the Ancient Indian Highest Mathematics and Chronometrical Computer (Intro., Tr. of the 8th Chapter of the Chandah-shastram of Pingala and Comments), Minsk-Vilnjus, 2004, 656 p.
The book is dedicated to new Vedic integral hermeneutics, aimed at reconstruction of the old Indian higher computing science, principles of chronoprogramming and decoding of linguistic-mathematical-astronomical codes of the veda-sanhitas, collections of poetic mantras considered as scientific formulas. Vedic mantras (liter. «guardians of ideas»), as a rule, are treated as poetic stanzas or magic spells containing mainly inconsistent and dark fragments of mythological and poetic character.
The doctrine of Vedic cryptic astronomical, algebraic and geometrical codes and the method of integrated Vedic interpretation has arisen during application to the Vedic syncretic text of the algebraic binary code, which was discovered in “Chandah-shastra” of Pingala, which was the important algebraic Vedic "science of encoding and metrics". It is considered by Vedic tradition as one of the vedangas, “the vital organs” or the most important Vedic sciences. The code was created by means of Vedic Sanskrit, a special programming language of hoary antiquity. Its development in a vedanga treatise, presumptively, had been necessitated by enciphering and subsequent preservation in memory of large astronomical tables and files of astronomical data, which reached us in the form of Vedas (“Data”, “Sciences”), Tantras (“couplers of astro-ethical manuals”), Itihasas (“exact astro-mythological socio-ethical descriptions”) and Puranas (“astroencyclopedias”). The book defines a new original method of astronomical-mathematical interpretation of the veda-sanhita-s consisting in application to the Vedic hermeneutics of the mathematical procedures or algorithms (prastara and others) outlined in algebraic form in the 8th chapter of the Chandaþ-Shastram.
Our attention was drawn towards these algorithms by Prof. Ram Karan Sharma at the XIth WSC held in Turin (2000). They were presented by him as enigmatic mathematical rules of classification of Sanskrit syllabic meters. However, according to our view, their purpose had not been a simple classification of syllabic meters and determination of the numerical order of their multiple modifications, but in reality they had represented an algebraic binary code developed by means of Vedic Sanskrit, a perfect programming language of antiquity, for binary, and presumably, ternary encoding of large decimal numbers. One of the algorithms, so-called Vedic rule of adhva-yoga, establishes a strict identity between binary and decimal numbers.
The Vedic mantra-s, now with the aid of computer, have been read as encryptions or complex syncretic digital codes needed for mathematical astronomy of jyotih-shastra and calendrical ritual of the kalpa-sutra-s. Mantras codified in the 7-th millenium B.C.E. during an epoch of glorious Vedic civilization and domination of space consciousness the mathematical data of exact astronomical observations rooted deeply in the past.
The book treats the four Vedas as an integrated whole with a unique hidden plan, homogenous in content and form. There is plenty of strict evidence of that. It puts forward a new astronomical dating of the Rig-veda and astronomical ascertaining of the place of origin of the Vedic science. It contains also a mathematical-astronomical decoding of the Proto-Indian script and gives new proofs of the theory formulated by authors previously that veda-sanhitas formed an operational system and calendrical astronomical database of the recital-mnemonic analog-digital chrono-computer, what had made the Vedas the highest computing science, the true scientific nucleus of chrono-socio-cosmos and a core of spiritual life and unification of the greatest scientifically organized global state of the ancient world – Vaidic Dharma or Vedic superpower (7 – 3 millenia B.C.E.) – progenitor of all Indian, Asian, African, Slavic, West-European and American civilizations.
This discovery of new method of interpretation forms an important turning point in scientific comprehension of the Vedic scriptures and the origins of civilization. The book will show you how you can literally rediscover an absolutely unimaginable aspect of the most ancient civilization on Earth, a database-driven chronometrical recital supercomputer, a true digital signature of Aliens or, most probably, academicians of the Paradise Lost in the form of the deepest sacred scripture now known as the Vedas (Sciences), in front of which Egyptian pyramids and even our contemporary computer operational systems fade and are similar to rude reflections of the original. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the Global Country of World Peace, describing Vedic outlook as unified field based consciousness had properly investigated only one aspect of the Vedas leaving aside a bundle of cryptic mathematical codes, which are applied by us consecutively and synergistically revealing a great database of precise scientific information.
This book is addressed to experts in old Indian culture and literature, and to those interested in history of mathematics, astronomy, computer science, linguistics, writing systems, literature, mythology, religion and sources of Human civilization.

It is not a scam.
It is not a science-fiction.
The bold assumptions in this book are not hype. The promotion material does not cover the smallest part of the content of the book. The content is much more valuable and rich.
It is a detailed account of a 20-years research, containing almost all sensational discoveries and revolutionary ideas, which can liberate indology and history science in general from a 200-years of involuntary swoon.
Then, why do I disclose these results before the eyes of a layman?
I understand that real gems of genuine science even those belonging to the remote past are invaluable bricks for future constructions, more objective theories, more relevant methodology of interpretation of the most important texts of the humankind.
I believe in the enthusiastic youth capable of higher concentration and penetration in the sooth of things, which can develop further and enlarge this methodology bringing about a successful implementation of the global vision of ancient seers and scientists into our life or life of future generations.
The mental computer technology was demonstrated not once in the Western countries in modern times by such ingenious thinkers as Nicolas Tesla.
This technology existed in the days of yore. It was used to harness the power of human brain in social organization of higher harmony - Vedic Super Power, the cosmic ethics global state. This is the true path to future global Superstate.
All other non-Vedic attempts to establish world dominance are futile and lead to just the opposite result - total annihilation. This is proven by a series of World wars of the past century.
Nowadays such a war threatens the whole Earth with total devastation. Modern technology without a global planning, without a global understanding of cosmic time cycles, with leaders tolerant to scams and unethical methods is not a solution for our problems; it is only childish rubbish; it is self-violent and disastrous for the world.
